Hello! I'm Marcy, the Hudson Valley's “GREEN” Realtor. I started my real estate career as a member of The Gibbs Team at Keller Williams Realty Hudson Valley United in 2017 where I fulfilled the roles of Transaction Coordinator and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. In 2020, after earning my National Association of Realtors’ GREEN Designation and becoming the only Realtor in New York to hold the Earth Advantage Broker certification, I branched off on my own, forming Hudson Valley Green Homes as a resource for clients seeking information about high-performing and eco-friendly homes. My passion is helping people sell, buy, and understand the benefits of resource-efficient homes, such as increased comfort, health and safety, energy efficiency (savings), overall durability, and climate resiliency. There are also benefits to the environment, and that's a win-win!

I am also the Owner and Operator of Green Building Specialists, a home assessment company. As a participating NYSERDA contractor, my company offers no-cost home energy assessments to NYS homeowners and renters. I hold certifications from the Building Performance Institute (BPI) in addition to being a Department of Energy (DOE) Home Energy Score (HES) Assessor. I’ve completed the Earth Advantage Sustainable Home Professional course in addition to BPI’s Total Building Performance training.

Among my other hats worn are Board Member for a non-profit organization called Mid-Hudson Energy Transition, volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, member of the Pine Bush Chamber of Commerce, and mom to three boys, 1 rescue dog, and 2 chickens.

My professional background is an interesting mix of having careers as a professional ballet dancer, FAA-certified pilot and aircraft dispatcher, customer service manager, co-founder of a medical safety consulting firm, drone pilot, building analyst, and real estate!
